Guest Speaking

The Middlesex County Sheriff's Office manages requests for on-duty officers to attend special events on a case-by-case basis. Assignments for deputies at these events are determined by staffing levels and call volumes on the day of the event. Our deputies can provide presentations on various topics and are open to specific topic requests.

Please include in your request:

  • Contact name
  • Contact phone number and email
  • Organization name (if applicable)
  • Number of participants
  • Location of event
  • Start/End time
  • Brief description of event
  • Topics to be discussed

While we strive to accommodate each event request, we reserve the right to cancel without notice if an emergency call for service occurs. 

We ask that requests be made at least three business days in advance. Request may be made in writing and returned via email to d.baird@co.middlesex.va.us or via mail at PO Box 207, Saluda, VA 23149.
