Casting Your Vote

How to Return Your Vote by Mail Ballot

Mail your voted ballot postmarked on or before Election Day so that it is received at the Middlesex County Election's Office mailing address by noon on the Friday following the election.  If Friday is a holiday with office closure, the deadline will be extended to the following Monday at 12:00 p.m

You may use the secure drop off location within the Election's Office or call us 804-758-4420, and we will pick up your ballot curbside.

Vote in Person or Curbside

In-person early voting will be available in the Voter Registration and Elections Office Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm September 23 through November 4, and Saturdays October 29 and November 5 from 9 am to 5 pm. Those who are 65 or older or have a physical disability may vote right in your vehicle. Park curbside in our designated voter parking space and call 804-758-4420.

Accessible Voting

For those unable to vote absentee by mail, or curbside, a ballot marking device is available in the Voter Registration and Elections Office. If you need this service, please call the office in advance to make an appointment 804-758-4420.
